Inefficient communications with Kimberly Lim almost cost us our home deal. We trusted her to help us with truth and clarity. Somewhere in the process, she lost interest in our deal and failed to communicate with necessary parties to close the deal successfully. We ended up paying $1500 more than our home was worth and risked losing our $1000 earnest money over issues that Kimberly could have resolved long before the closing date. We were disappointed and felt betrayed because she seemed so competent at the beginning of our transaction with her company.

They were able to offer a good rate. My loan consultant, while knowledgeable, did not provide good communication. Also, a point was added without my consent. Upon questioning, I was informed it would be removed. It ended up being reduced but not removed... Which I was not made aware of, I found it on final paperwork. I had to reach out numerous times for status updates. This process went on from September to January, with no true explanation of reason for delays. Would not recommend due to the hassle. I am happy to be done dealing with them.

Started off well, but it has been 7 weeks and we still do not have a preapproval for a mortgage despite following up with additional pay stubs they requested (applied a few weeks after spouse started a new job). No further communication unless my husband contacts the loan consultant and just keep being told it's with the underwriters with no estimate of completion. We have been unable to view houses as most people in the area we live in will not accept offers without a preapproval in hand. We have applied with a new mortgage lender last week and will not be bothering further with this company.

This has not been a great experience. While I liked our loan officer personally, I feel like there was not always consistent communication, and that was partially on our side in the beginning. When I emailed, I did not always receive responses. I was not warned when other parties contacted us for additional information. Our address was wrong on our documents all the way until notarization despite multiple attempts to get it corrected. We were not reminded of deadlines or when something was fixed in the system. Our other two mortgage experiences were easier, and I felt that the loan officers there wanted our business and therefore would keep us and everything on track. If it were not for the amazing interest rate and super low closing cost, we were going to be done with this process.

Slow closing process which caused rate increase when It was too late in the process to change lenders.

Keara Waites was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond BUT whoever the underwriter was she was terrible and made my special occasion very terrible.

Kristen Vagedes is VERY knowledgeable about the whole process ???? as well as helping me understand along the way. She did her BIG ONE! I am very grateful for the help I have received first and foremost with New American Funding and ?? Real Estate Title Agency. With their help I am officially a 1st time homeowner. 6-11-25

Very disappointed in the service overall, they’re very disorganized to the point I had to resubmit documentation multiple times. At the closing I wasn’t told Certain documentation was needed and resulted in loan getting defunded a week after closing. I had to overnight documents and resign addition documents after closing already happened. This was a really bad experience they’re disorganization and miss communication was horrible.
