Every night they would request another piece of paperwork that would be needed ASAP. It would have been nice to have a list of needed information up front, so we weren't scrambling around every night after 8:00 pm searching for documents. Other than that, every thing went pretty quickly. Ralph L

There were multiple miscommunications surrounding docs that needed to be signed, some went to my spam and were never followed up on. There was a small blurb mentioned about “buying down the interest rate” that’s was never thoroughly explained. Once the issues were escalated to the manager level everything was great! Advice: Personalize the experience, make your interaction less about the company talking points and more about what each client is trying to accomplish.

Wendy was amazing and we used this mortgage program to have the opportunity to work with her because of other loans we had done with her at her previous bank. This had to have been the worst mortgage experience we have ever had . We are planning on buying another investment property and we will not be able to use Wendy because the overall process was a complete nightmare.

Initially advised 3.23% interest rate. Offered 3% by other bank-went w/ u due 2 prior experience. Emailed questioning interest rate-no response provided. As far as inspection, came 2 house for 10 minutes-then received messages I needed 2 take pictures of home for them. Charged for inspection had 2 do myself. The people were great but the process and dealing w/ multiple people wasn’t. Should be painless experience. Won’t refer others or come back. Only continued cuz didn’t want credit re-pulled.

Clear communication and meeting expectations. Promises to send info were not met. Instead the method of communication always seemed to be that I would get forms to sign rather than any explanation of what they are or answers to the questions I had asked. I was also very clear in stating my wife was not available and asking if anything would be required. I was told nothing would be needed but at last minute needed wet signature on something that could have been done weeks before the funding day.

Our loan information was not accurately submitted for the closing, the home insurance information was removed from the final documents without our knowledge. Someone from New American called my sister-in-law, instead of me, and left a voicemail giving out some details of our loan that we felt should not have been disclosed. Several times we had to confirm the same details of the loan and closing, which left us feeling as if things were a bit unorganized.
