Stephanie was great in letting me know what to expect. Needed more follow up from the assigned loan processor for documents needed and expected procedures (Rate lock expiration and impact on me) for refinance. Appraisal requested, glad I had the money. I purchased the home before I got married and wasn't aware my spouse had to be present for the closing date, my spouse had to give short notice to his job. I wasn't aware funds after closing would be made payable to me and my spouse vs. just me.

I could never get a closing date when I asked for one. We had to send the same information multiple times. It seemed liked there was poor communication between your internal processes/Departments. We had a hard time getting some people to understand what raw land is and that was one of many issues we had. Coddi Dean himself did a good job.

Better communication from the underwriting department.Jesse was great at explaining the reason behind things. I will recommend him to anyone! Whereas Jourdan (underwriting) would ask questions that were offensive, requested documents multiple times, all the way down to the day we were signing and provided no explanation or untruths, failed to work with Jesse for the majority of items. Then got it wrong, creating an adjustment to my loan because she failed to verify creditors were paid off earlier in the process. Again, due to lack of communication. However, I will say in Jourdan absence Ms.Bautista (underwriting)was an excellent example of what and how underwriting should interact with consumers. She called me, answered questions, and explained. Very professional. I too would recommend Ms Bautista and Jesse V. any day to anyone as a first time home buyer!

Sending correct cd and walking thru all the paperwork with client, not just send and looking at numbers. Also when inspection is $600 in one paper and another one gets sent out for $650. A lot of miss information on the go around. My wife and myself felt a lot of things were half way explained.
