Had almost 2 months to close from purchase contract date. Appraisal came back 3 days before close. It required a "secondary review" that wasn't completed by close (friday) wich left my clients homeless in a city they had never lived in before due to closing earlier that day on there previous home. I paid for a hotel over memorial weekend hoping to get the "secondary review" completed. Didn't get closed until the following Wednesday. They didn't work the holiday weekend and prioritize the client.

Juri was very nice and professional but frankly the underwriting process was a complete nightmare. It was several weeks to get the closing docs correct. And I have never had my original estimate so far off from the final. Really dissatisfied with the process overall.

Request for data at late stages was very troublesome. Over reliance on electronic data and communications. Poor understanding of our property details led to brinkmanship and loan closing delays. Very callous of my constraints snd unable to comply with what I consider basic courtesy.

More communication or organization throughout the entire process. They requested the exact same bank statements from me 4-5 times. There were some papers that apparently didn’t get signed in one spot, but no one said anything or notified us to correct that until we emailed them to ask why we hadn’t heard anything from anyone for a week. I know there’s a lot of dead time when it comes to home loans, but the communication was poor to say the least.

My interest rate was locked in without my knowledge. The communication between beau and Echo was non-existent. They would both request the same forms multiple times and we received conflicting answers. On the day of closing they were requesting a signed termite form, which we sent weeks prior, and they needed a form to show that our old house was paid off. This had nothing to do with us and we were worried that the paper work we signed that morning, would be invalid if we didn't get them form.
