Initial information and service was great. During initial research and info gathering we felt our questions were answered promptly and received good advice. However, after this initial step was complete we have felt left on our own. No direction on what to do, who to contact and our questions have been left unanswered. To be honest we feel that once we signed that was all anyone cared about.

I was promised in an email that my rate lock would be extended through the end of November or longer, if necessary, to provide time to close my refinance. I was promised that there would be NO increased cost to extend that rate lock. Once I had gotten the appraisal and incurred a $750 expense, I got new documents that revealed a $71.40 increased cost for the rate lock. I advised Ms. Quintero of the notice of increase in a forwarded copy of her email PROMISING that there would be no increased cost for the extension. She said she would look into it. She did NOT keep her word that the rate lock would not increase in cost. A broken promise means a dissatisfied customer.

All Refinances are not the same and attention to detail and allocating time correctly to get the loan closed should be as important as filling in all the boxes. At times I think Logic needs to dictate as opposed to the cookie cutter process.

Communication among the loan officer and the loan processor was poor and I was asked for the same documents by different people multiple times. There was an error in the initial disclosure documents such that I had to print and sign everything all over again, right after the initial signing, and that error was not apologized for appropriately. Rather than use the portal, the loan officer and loan processor repeatedly sent highly sensitive tax documents that contained my SSN, income, etc. to my Gmail account with no encryption or other protection. The loan officer was very pushy (to the point of sounding rude) in rushing me to complete the initial application. The loan officer was unhelpful in resolving an issue with the disbursement of the loan cash-out (he responded to my initial inquiry but ultimately left the problem, which was that the payment was sent via check instead of wire, unaddressed).

Robert was very communicative and friendly when we first started the process, but couldn’t get the loan out of underwriting and we ended up closing 211/2 weeks late. A termite inspection was requested the DAY BEFORE the original settlement deadline. Y’all need to communicate between departments better.

Chris Cooke didn't know a lot in the beginning. Then both Chris and Ariana it would take quite a while before they would respond back to emails. Usually a minimum of 3 days. Just felt messy and i believe it cost me an extra $200 in the end as it took a lot of back and forth
