More communication, not lied to repeatedly. Mike was great by his hands were tied I could tell. His boss told me several times he would do get involved and call me back with updates and never did. Shayla was awful in just about everything she did.

It was really hard to get a hold of Melyssa, as a first time buyer I was expecting for someone to explain things a little bit more, also I had to be on top to receive updates. Close to the end of the process I was told that NAF only gives interest rates with points, I would have expect this to be information shared at the beginning of the process. Therefore I ended up with a very high interest rate and paying money for it. I understand this may be how the bank works, but some transparency since the beginning would have been nice.

He was adequate but I would recommend more oversight and sticking with timelines. Additionally, maybe review recordings and see if client communication is in line with company expectations. Did not enjoy being called “dear” but didn’t want to hurt his feelings either as it’s clearly a generational difference and he meant it respectfully.

There was a lack of communication, attention to detail, knowledge of local programs. Was unresponsive to myself and my client. We did make it to the closing table but with lots of stress. Wouldn’t work with this broker or company again.

Communication started off very strong, overly so - didn't care for language used with the buyer's agent or buyer. Buyer commented at closing that our loan consultant appeared to be disconnected from communication and relied overly on his resources without understanding where we were in the process. It's never easy working east coast / west coast and this just reinforced the unpleasantness - add to that the buyer and I had to sit at the closing table for 4 hours - nobody should have to do that. As the buyer's agent, I'll have to see my client regularly in this community - along with the closing company / attorney. I'll even have to work with the listing agent, and will likely see her customer. The one entity in this entire process that won't be an integral of daily business in this area going forward is New American Funding because they're physically located 2,500+ miles away. So it's easier for them to view this as a transaction, not so much for the rest of us and that stings a bit because it's clear they're not as vested as we are for future interactions. This was all just a little overwhelming and disappointing - and being in the business for 5 years, and recognized as a high performer in this community, I just can't afford to have future interactions transpire in this fashion.

better communication, not so many different people in the mix, the unorganized issues on closing day were terrible.
