I like working with Kristina. She is efficient. However, I do not appreciate the loan process and I never want to ever refinance with your company. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I had the hardest time understanding your ignorant and anal process. You could have treated me better.

The process was clunky. Communication from Kristina was ok, but the terrible communication overall impacted my rating of her, especially as the last stage was confusing and lacking necessary information being communicated appropriately.

Nancy was decent, she wasn't the problem. The overall experience with New American Funding, however, was horrible and it seemed to mostly be due to the lack of communication and extremely slow response and turnaround time from the loan processor. At times it was so egregious that we genuinely were starting to feel like it was intentional. If things had been reasonably timely on that side of things, we likely could have closed a week earlier and not had one of the most stressful moves of our life. And this doesn't even touch on how they seemed to consistently get important pieces of information wrong on our documentation, despite being told many times by us and others to correct it and what needed to be corrected. We even got his supervisor involved, who turned out to be completely disinterested and who's only communication was an attempt to advise us to commit insurance fraud. I would never recommend NAF to anyone short of a dear enemy.

There were several emails that were simply a pass-through without explanation of what I needed to do. The items needed by the underwriter continued up until 3 days before closing. I don't understand why these things cannot be identified early on in the process. Also, Gary was very accusatory when asking me to return to the title company. Instead of starting the conversation by asking if I had heard from the title company, he immediately began blaming me for something that I was not even aware of.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the home-buying process. The approval process was extremely stressful and felt downright ridiculous at times. The flood of emails was simply overwhelming, often requiring me to send duplicate paperwork multiple times. The constant back-and-forth was incredibly tiring and inefficient. What made matters worse were the microaggressions and the inappropriate questions that implied doubts about my employment and income. It felt as if they were faintly accusing me of not having any money at all, which was offensive and unwarranted. Overall, it was a frustrating ordeal that left me very dissatisfied.
