I’m the beginning everything was great. As we moved through the underwriting process thing became a little bit of a mess. Communication wasn’t the best and we were constantly asked for thing we already sent and a few times after giving information about something there was no follow through until a few days before setttlement and then it was a mad rush to get things in.

There was a costly mistake made. It was fixed, overall he did work very hard for us and remained pleasant throughout. In the end we are in our new home and are happy.

I wish communication was better. As a first time home buyer I didn't know about locking in rates, I should have been locked in months ago, instead I wasn't told about locking in until about a week before settlement, I ended up having to pay for penalty points to get an interest rate that still wasn't as good as if I would have been locked in back in November. My realtor asked what my lock in rate was more than once and he never got a a direct answer back. It makes me think it was pushed off on purpose. I also didn't have final numbers until the morning of settlement.

Communication could have been better. Requested comitt date was not met cauing added expense on my part. Up to and past my request clise date I was still submitting documentation. I feel this should have been requested much sooner in the process
