Better communication More worksheets with the info upfront. More explanation of the process upfront (ie, we didn’t know about the rate drop option, or that the loan rates go down at 15 days until we right there. We felt up in the air a lot. It seemed like he was so busy that we weren’t a priority and it made us question if we were really getting the best service we could get. We would’ve switched lenders had we found one that could compete with rate. When We found one, it was too late.)

Most business was done by Kelly, except the next stage conversations or a question here and there. Our suggestion would be: Consistent communication especially at the end, when it's most critical should changes arise, would be my biggest suggestion. If things aren't happening the way they typically do, own it or if it's out of your control be proactive and explain the possible roads ahead. Leaving your client in the dark creates panic and frustration. At the end, the job got done.

We have purchased several homes in our life time as well as several refinances. For this one we specifically discussed that it would be a no cost, no points loan. When we received the preliminary documents we noticed costs and called Jason. He said again there are no costs. When the loan was completed we found out they had simply added the costs into the loan balance. That was NOT what we had discussed and was very disappointing.

Try not to make the customer turn paperwork at the last minute and if you tell a customer, if the appraisal price is one price, don't charge them another price. Have a list of prices for the appraisals to show the customer

Too little communication to get all our ducks in order quickly and too many "one more thing" items that kept delaying the close. I wish Daniel had communicated sooner on each of the problems that came up. We had to call and text for updates and Daniel would be "in a meeting" or "on the phone," promise to call back in 20 minutes, and then never call back. These things never happened with our previous loan broker.

We lacked a lot of communication. This was a long escrow a 45 day escrows we thought it would be smooth, the buyer worked night shift so we wanted to accommodate him and several emails went out and we didn't accomplish that goal. Also buyer was not satisfied, many times documents were sent out to him with many errors and he had to keep signing over and over several times. Grace did not take responsibility for errors. Tom was apologetic which we did appreciate.

Better communication throughout the associated . It's unfortunate that we have to rate Melanie in that light. Melanie was personable but the lack of communication between associates made it a frustrating experience.
