This time the process took longer Than my previous experience with naf As a returning customer, I chose to because of my experience in the past was good, now upset to hear even before making my first payment that my loan was sold to a unknown company. I feel like my money was taken and now Im being moved along.

Jed was good about explaining things to me, so no complaints there. My criticism is with the NAF underwriting process + overall NAF loan costs. I was required to get a lot of documentation that wasn't required of me with a previous lender + mortgage. My loan with NAF had a higher interest rate + more (NAF specific) loan fees than the other lenders that I got preapprovals with so I'll have to refinance. I also never received an official loan commitment letter before the loan was funded and never saw the loan documents ordered by underwriting before closing so I never knew final costs until after closing. fro

Sharon did an amazing job with my credit application. She truly went above and beyond to help me with my credit situation, and she made me feel important instead of just another applicant. Her patience, effort, and support meant a lot to me. The only small thing I’d suggest is improving communication just a bit, but overall she did a fantastic job and I really appreciate her hard work.

Overpromised and under delivered. Timelines extended far beyond expectations. Some issues were underwriter related so not just a hit on Kevin and Jordan. I lost a lot of confidence in NAF due to my last two mortgage transactions. Please, please, please send your personnel to advanced VA Loan processing training - or get out of the VA Loan business.
