I was asked to provide the same documents multiple times. Several different people were involved on the New American side, and it appeared that they were not communicating. The first time the notary was scheduled to come to my house to close, no one showed up. Only after I called to inquire was I told that the documentation wasn't ready and the closing had to be delayed. Poor communication throughout the entire process.

Return phone calls in a timely matter, listen to client when they say when the financial stuff is due, and not blame the client when a deadline is missed.

We received emails from numerous people. It was hard to keep track of who we were supposed to send things to. Some of our paperwork was overlooked, and we had to scramble at the end to come up with a required document, which we thought had been taken care of weeks before.

I felt like communication was lacking. I had asked to be notified via text message when an important email was sent. That never happened. I had to teach it for updates too. I really like Becky, but I would ask. It to deal with Shari if there is a next time.

I appreciate that the whole team was working hard to get my loan approved as quickly as possible, but there were times when they expected me to provide them info and paperwork on demand and got short with me when I could not comply. They relied on email communication only and did not give me the courtesy of a phone call when there was a short suspense on anything. Overall, they were good but I do not feel they believed I was the customer and it sometimes felt like I was working for them.
