I would have liked to have had things explained to my wife and I more clearly. We have never bought a house before and are very ignorant of most all of it. Dianne was very helpful in getting us our loan and helping get passed a lot of things we didn't understand.

Communication was great in the beginning but as we edged closer to closing we got lots of contradictory information, last minute requests and incorrect information. Buying a home is stressful and we tried our best to stay on top of every request with little to no delay in gathering and sending over information. As a realtor I understand the need to stay on top of it to prevent delays. Overall I think Tanya is very knowledgeable and was very helpful during the home shopping process, my recommendation would be with the team once you go under contract. The communications were asked to go through a team which is fine but the conflicting information, delays in communication and lack repetitive asks for the same information became pretty frustrating. Hopefully we just caught everyone off their game and this isn't the usual experience. But not knowing if we are closing on time, closing documents not arriving to the attorney on time, being told the wrong amount to have for closing after requesting clarification was all very overwhelming. And none of this was acknowledged or apologized for, which was a bit disheartening.

The experience was okay until the closing. I was expecting a different payment date but when I tried to address this no one responded back. I was told the entire time that the payment for the mortgage would be fedx ove night. I was expecting that the same thing would occur with the other payments to the credit cards too. Well it's been nearly two weeks since the closing and the credit cards are still not paid off. I finally got hold of the closing company and was told these payments needed to be mailed. That means over $50000.00 was sent through the mail. I would never ever send any money through normal mail. Since then I've had to make payments to these accounts. I've also had more interest added to the account. My goal was to close these accounts
