In the beginning, communication was great & I was told I would have one contact throughout the duration of funding. New people were continually added to the communications, requesting information & additional signatures for duplicated papers. I had to request progress updates of the appraisal & loan. Closing was delayed 2 weeks from the originally anticipated date. I can say, the final contact person was GREAT! I am happy to lower my interest rate, but the overall process was frustrating.

Fine. Nothing memorable. Seemed passive-aggressive throughout (both loan officer and processor). Got the deal done without any issue though, so thanks.

No talking just text or email. Must read contract and not make up dates. Must read contract! Yes I put twice. Listen to both agent and client! Very unpleasant experience and yes now gun shy!

This was my 5th loan with New American. The first two went very well, and it has gone downhill from there. Since I just closed two other properties in late March, you would have all of my information on file. I got a request from the loan processor, which I responded to within 24 hours. After two weeks I still had not heard back. Terrible communication led to the close being delayed and the RE agent losing money due to the way the PA was structured. You should reimburse him for your errors
