Casey was pleasant enough to work with but did not pursue the tasks needed to complete the transaction in a timely manner. Because of this, everything was rushed at the last minute. There was no opportunity to review closing statements prior to closing, causing an error that could not be corrected.

If everyone involved where on the same page. Unfortunately this has been a problem thought my time with new America funding. No one really know what going on. Need better communication between employees and customers.

I’m the end I was able to close my refinance as applied for but it took a lot of work on my part that was not necessary. I asked the merge company over 10 times to address an issue with the appraisal company and I was told multiple times that I was wrong and what I was asking was wrong. After I finally spoke to the appraisal company I was told that they were unaware of my request and after looking into it, they said I was correct in my request and moved forward with what I was telling them. My reason for the low review is because I told several people with new American funding that the appraisal was wrong and gave very specific details as to why. These details were not being discussed with the appraisal company and it almost cost me from completing the refi.

Enio was good but the overall experience was more difficult than it needed to be at times. Prior to closing they should have made sure I was prepared as I didn't know I needed a cashier's check to pay closing costs. If it was said at some point I either forgot or missed it but in the future you should remind your clients a few days prior to closing to avoid the issue again. In addition, closing was delayed by 5 days unexpectedly when I believed we already had a date set resulting in me needing to take additional time off work. If there were any issues with my bank statements it should have been sorted out before selecting a closing date and having me take time off work. Other than that, after the issues occured they were helpful in getting things sorted out but it would have been better to avoid these in the first place. Overall Enio himself was very professional and he did a fine job helping to sort things out in the end.

I received either misinformation or "system error" that caused me to pay for an appraisal I did NOT in fact need because you were already my mortgage company. Luckily I was refunded, but to be told I needed one, to have one completed (had to take off of work), and then the very next day to be told I did not need one was incredibly frustrating. Then to have my closing pushed up by 3 days because it was somehow "missed" that my former closing date was the end date of my locked-in date and because it was a refinance you needed 3 days in order to pay off the old loan. And now, a week later after closing I am being charged for the old loan (I was enrolled in the bi-weekly payment program). Don't your departments talk to each other? Why would the old loan not be paid off yet? Communication and the correct communication needs to be improved.
