There seemed to be a lack of communication after we got all the documents provided. The closing was held and we signed all the papers and there was NO INFORMATION about when/how we would receive funding. The notary said "didn't they tell you it would be funded on the 17th?". Obviously, someone knew this information. There was a requirement that checks to creditors be made out - however, the amounts had changed since the application - there was no time to modify that. The checks were made out to companies (JPMC and AMEX) but did not indicate which account each check was for. When I called to speak to the title company she pulled the "application" to give me account numbers - they didn't match any of our actual card numbers. All in all, a less than seamless experience!

Poor communication and took 8 months to close and that’s 3 credit injuries later. We are now with the original plan and at a higher interest rate!!!
