I don’t think an email should be sent to a customer stating we are ready for closure until you have everything necessary done to be really ready for closure. This was a moment in my life that I thought I would never achieve and this experience felt like an emotional roller coaster Everytime I was told we are ready for closure then asked for something else at the last moment or something was pending from the appraisal aspect.

We felt that things were not taken care of in a timely manner. There were last minute problems that should have been taken care of ahead of time . We were then promise signing times that didn’t happen as we were told . Which made the transition very stressful and inconvenient. I understand that not all was in your control but then you shouldn’t have committed to certain times .

"Senior processor " has NO knowledge in dealing with trust. Sent trust certificate twice and she insisted she see entire trust. Held up closing and caused drama. Then she blamed me for not enough info and my sister for not wiring "gifted" funds that were not necessary. We wired funds and then she said we dont need them. She needs to be educated in her libe of work so NO ONE has to go thru what we endured.

I am in the business myself having been a processor and underwriter. I provided all documents up front and the process still took over 30 days to close. My mortgage company didn’t help with payoffs taking 7 business days to obtain however the team stopped working on my files during these times and once we got the payoffs really made the process stressful as we were up against a deadline to fund by a certain date of my debts being paid off would require additional payments to avoid 30 day lates. They had action items to work on but did not. Additionally, my original offer was no longer good because of some AUS risk assessment changes by Fannie. The team did not have the wherewithal to suggest an applicable counter offer. I proposed the change which worked. If I was a customer that didn’t know how this all works, this team would have lost that clients business. Overall this experience is just like everywhere else. Slow, inexperienced and treats clients as a transaction. I will endeavor to find a team that puts clients first and has a support system to make actions reflect that.

I think the branch needs to improve on communication and detail orientation. In the beginning of the process when I was shopping around I was checked in with frequently. However, once they felt I was set with them the communication changed entirely. At least I got a fair interest rate. But the company definitely needs better communication and respect. We arrived to sign the closing documents with a notary we paid for and the documents had multiple mistakes. They never admitted to the mistakes they made on notary documents. This was very stressful and inconvenient.

I just often felt there was a bit of miscommunication, and I felt unimportant. I got documents in the day after requested and often I would be told they where not there. I was told I should close mid February and I close mid March. It's done now but again felt unimportant like my needs didn't matter.
