I understand that my clients required a fair amount of paperwork for this transaction, along with some credit repair going into it. However, the process became increasingly difficult when the same documents were repeatedly requested , even after they had been signed. The lender required them to be submitted in a specific order, but my clients struggled with the technical side of organizing them properly. Underwriting could have easily consolidated the documents they already had into a single PDF in the preferred format, which would have alleviated a lot of stress. Unfortunately, our timeline was completely derailed We closed six weeks late. There were also grammatical errors in the clients’ names at the closing table and poor communication throughout the entire process, across all parties. We chose Bob based on his strong reputation in the industry, but this experience was far from ideal. I’d be hesitant to work with him again without a clear plan and a stronger commitment to meeting deadlines.

Communication could have been much better. I feel we were often needing to request updates and ask what the next steps were throughout the entire process. I also feel like we had to ask for solutions as opposed to us being presented with all of our options.

There was a lot of miscommunication and delays throughout the process. The delays were frustrating, but it would have been better received if they were openly and promptly communicated to us. We went weeks without any update at one point.

During the last few days before closing, we needed a reinspection and received no word of when that would happen or completed. W I called and emailed both the loan officer and processor, I received no communication. The day before closing when it was unclear if the sale was going to close, I received no responses to my inquiries which included three emailed messages and at least four phones that included voicemail messages. On the day of closing when the Title company requested information, there was no response all the way up to the final moments needed to record on closing day. My expectation was at the very minimum an email response to any of my questions during a very stressful process to shed light on what was happening would that have made the process smoother. I questioned my choice in lender. Though Katy was nice at the beginning and middle of the process, the lack of contact and communication greatly overshadowed the niceties.

When the buyer was getting approved the communication was good, after the buyer received approval the communication seemed to stop unless I initiated it by checking in on the loan status. At one point I was directed to the processor to get my questions answered and from then on all communication was with the processor as they seemed to know the status of the loan and what was needed of the buyer and myself to get the loan to the closing table. I'm used to working and talking with the lender only so it was a very different experience.
