I prefer working with local lenders. Towards the end of the transaction, I don't know if it was the time difference or not, but very delayed communication when we were past our goal date to close. It was stated that lender couldn't get in touch with title but title wouldn't receive any communication until late afternoon Within 3 hours of end of business day. A file that should have been CTC on a Monday didnt Close until Thursday.

Too many misplaced or lost documents. Time wasted by not informing your customer to copy all sided of a document even if the original page is blank.

My house came in at 345,000 . Loan was at 100,000. Cost $18,000. Check cut for $2,000 and Fed Ex to me when I asked for it to go directly to the bank. Signed papers for it to go directly to checking account. Another last min change not discussed with me. That I would have said No. Theres a clear misconnect with customer needs and company greed.

At the beginning we had great communication up until close to closing. Clear to close was never relayed. Buyer had not spoken to lender as well and was not aware of amount to bring to closing. Poor communication during an important time of transaction.

Having to constantly follow up for any updates on the process, taking a month and a half to complete. Being told that my processor "got behind" with a sale and that's why my file was shoved off a week. Sent wrong emails ect. Was not an enjoyable experience. Felt like it would have sat longer had I not stayed on top of it.
