It was just the closing date issue for me. If I was supposed to close in July and was able to close in May then that probably wouldn't have been an issue but it happened to be during the holidays and while I was spending time with family

improve your technology for the application process. If the initial page had simply stated that co- applicants would require different emails and phone numbers, there would have been no issues. But that information was not stated until the second applicant info, and any editing to correct for that requirement was not allowed for the primary applicant. This simple issue complicated 75% of our loan process.

Matt was slightly difficult to reach when I had questions and he also changed my loan type from FHA to conventional in attempt to save me money, which was great, but he failed to mention it would change my down payment from 3.5% to 5%. Had I not sold my other home first I wouldn’t have had the money to purchase another home because of this change.

I think there could have been better communication overall. There were multiple times that we were told we needed to get documentation or have something signed either same day or given a few hours to complete or risk pushing the start date back. Additionally, it doesn't seem like we were a priority when it came to receiving updates from the underwriting/loan team outside of David. I think there could have been better communication all around. On the opposite end of the spectrum the realtor Icee was amazing. She was the only person in the entire process that proactively followed up with my wife and I to inform us why it was taking so long to hear back, when we expect to hear back, and what is and will be needed throughout the entire process. I would refer/rank her 10/10 as opposed to our overall experience being just ok especially considering we've worked with prior lenders for home ownership in the past.

communication was very poor. especially from Susan. the entire loan process was prolonged without sufficient updates or timely responses to emails. but when Susan did reach out, she would call multiple times back to back which I found unprofessional and frankly annoying given I was trying to handle something else at the time she called and would have called her back when I was done.
