I would have appreciated more communication about exact numbers and the cost breakdown of closing. When I first spoke with Ron he said closing costs would be covered by our escrow. We got a check for the overage from last year and wasn't aware that wasn't accounted for, i assumed i wasn't supposed to cash it so i could put it towards closing. Ron never reached out to explain the breakdown of costs or to notify us of how much we would be expected to bring to closing. I only became aware because of asking a question in the portal. I understand the cost was still lower than the mortgage payment, but any time a customer is supposed to bring money to the table they need to know sooner than the friday before closing.

I wish I had gotten updates more frequently. It was also really annoying to get tons of emails that each asked one or two questions that we needed to answer. I would have preferred to get a few emails during the underwriting process that each had a bunch of questions that we needed to answer because it would have worked better with our lunch schedules and being able to see the emails sooner so that we could print documents off at work if needed.

If the process was accurate and done in the timely manner needed. Also if the process had been completed when promised as I had a very specific time that I would be available and in the country which is what was required and agreed upon by everyone involved.

More communication. Even when it was recorded / finalized with the city, The sale agent wasn’t notified, when we went to pick up the keys. We showed up to get the keys and they said they didn’t get any notification that it’s been recorded. She had to call to confirm that it was completed. That is not a memorable experience.

I felt like I was just another number. No special treatment. continuously asked for the same information previously sent, which told me there was no communication between inter office staff. Buying the home was an important deal for me , and this particular team I felt didn't share my concerns . I had to let them know that we were close to closing and needed the loan done, and when I asked about the interest rates being higher than they quoted and the response was "I can always refinance in the future ????
