At the end of the day I am happy with the loan I received from NAF. Bryan was very friendly and accessible, however, I believe he still has a lot to learn regarding the mortgage financing process.

The time to get the loan was very long . Victor was very professional but there was a lot of things that could of been done better. I think. Tammy called me and told me she would let me know up dates on my loan status every week. She didn't me and my wife had to get a hold of her to find out things . Then she went behind my back and contacted my HR person and asked her questions that I had already answered and give them proof of. The only reason I found out about this is cause my HR person called me and asked why they were contacting her and if I knew about it. That really bothered me. And both my loans we were paying off with this loan werent pay off like I was told they would be. And when I called Victor he didnt have any idea about it . So I guess after then loan is signed . There is no follow up on it. All of these issue end up cost us 200 dollars out of are pockets . So I really was happy about these issue. And it took an 2 months and a few days to get this all done.

Communication could have been better during the underwriting process. My credit is not perfect, I had things to pay off during closing. I am fine with that situation. A debt that was going to be paid off days before closing and I was told would not be included ended up being included. Plus, a balance that was two months old. I mentioned it when I saw it appear on pre closing document but I was ignored. Now I have to chase this money down. Also, an additional account appeared to payoff that nobody discussed with me. Again, I understand but need to be communicated with. This increased my cash at closing and changed some plans I had to make this house my home. I also found out at closing that there were clerical errors with dates. Minor, but if the closing coordinator would not have noticed this would have delayed my closing. This could have been prevented when I called around 10 days before closing to make sure everything was in line to close Friday 5/23.
