I have gone through the loan process for purchasing or refinancing homes at least a dozen times and this was the most arduous and time consuming experience I have had. I recognize that staff depend on other departments to ensure the process keeps moving along so it is unfair to say my overall experience was because my loan officer wasn't on top of it. Rates are low and staff are busy. We finally closed and I am happy with my rate & terms.

I would’ve had appreciated if information was informed on time when things were needed rather than last minute. Also I would’ve had liked to be told from the beginning I wasn’t qualified for a Conventional loan rather than going with it and finding out FHA is the only route I could take.

Communication was lacking and most of which had to be initiated by me. The process took approximately 3.5 months despite being promised half the time. It was not my worst mortgage experience but it definitely wasn’t the best.

The process was too long, too many mistakes were made, miscommunication or lack thereof, and it caused a lot of anxiety, missed work, and missed income because our closing had to be scheduled and rescheduled 5 times. We did not end up with what we set out for and it cost us in the end.

Being a single mother/first time home buyer, I was looking for a lender that works with downpayment assistance offered to me after completing an 8 hr class for approval. Ty said that his company works with these specific programs mentioned. 3 weeks before closing and already into underwriting process Ty informed me that his company did not work with the programs mentioned before. I didn't want to lose my dream house in this aggressive market so I put down almost $7400 to close. Be careful.

Because it was all on line there was a lot of emailing scanning and faxing. Riana was on vacation for two weeks in the beginning and the people she left in charge were unaware of what was going on. The communication between your whole team was not good. At one point my realtor wanted me to switch lending companies but I decided not to because I didn't want to start all over again. When dealing with people out of state there should be better communication and it would have been better.
