Underwriters are months behind on loans, which is totally fine, I understand the insane demand for refis with historic low interest rates. But, my term was only locked for ~6 weeks and the loan took 8+ weeks to finish. NAF honored the original terms, but it would have been nice to receive official extensions and updates every 2-4 weeks on the underwriting process.

The agent was very professional and very patient and knowlegable in explaining the documents and its process.The biggest draw back was at closing... It was VERY STRESSFUL!!!!!!!The company had no lawyer available for closing. Thus, closing got delayed. Days went by no lawyer; no closing. Fortunately, a friend introduced me to a to a real estate lawyer who was willing to process the closing documents. The documents were not faxed properly. it repeated the problem to a recommended friend.

I would have liked a breakout of costs earlier. A schedule of when things would be needed. A follow up on items sent to make sure it was received.

Jon was great and his service to me was excellent. The team doing other things for the loan was not good. The person doing my re-score was horrible . The team kept asking me for extra paper work every day until I got approved. After I got approved and signed all paperwork with Chicago title to get funded... they kept asking me for more paperwork for 3 days in a row...including a picture of my passport ??? Then it took 11 days to get funded ??? Worst loan service in 3 I have done !!!
