Had some miscommunication along the way, including title work that was thought to have been ordered but was never followed upon by anyone on the lending end. If I hadn't checked about 2 weeks before closing,I don't know how long this would have taken to be caught. In my opinion, when automated emails are sent to order title work, an actual person needs to call the title company to confirm receipt. Title company said they never received the order.

When the loan officer goes on vacation it would be nice to know. We were suppose to close on the 15th and my buyer needed to talk to him but he was gone until the 15th

Communication with all parties involved was terrible. Thankfully our realtor was able to handle most of our questions and concerns.

Unfortunately the deal almost fell through because the buyer wasn't aware of the class she had to take with the state on predatory lending. The seller almost cancelled the sale. Also, by the time I received your automated emails about different stages of the loan, I already knew that information from other sources. Communication could be better.

I guess my biggest complaint is communication between my Jesse and my realtor. I charge her with making sure we are closing on time, and she felt the responses from Jesse were short and he deflected her requests to an associate when all she was doing was her job. That was not the promise I received from Jesse when this process started. Otherwise, the work provided by his assistant was excellent.

I prefer a smaller, local bank. Started off great and then minimal communication at the end. I even had a call days after the closing saying the appraisal was in and we were good lol. We had already closed! Jesse was very nice and polite each and every time I spoke with him. Very professional. Thanks Jesse!

Everything was smooth until the closing. We drove 40 minutes to close, but were notified that the closing documents were not ready. We had to meet again a few days later and the closing documents were wrong. They were fixed and we were able to close that day. We had a lot of trouble with the closing part when we closed on a refinance last time also with New American Funding.
