Communication is key in this business and I never received any communication until late in the process. Mostly was going to the client who then would contact me and I in turn, reach out to LO. Much better to include the agents in the process.

We started the loan process on a high note and gradually experienced the performance of NAF on a downward trend. It wasn’t until the very last minute that we were assured the money would be available for closing. Even then we were not convinced that we would make our settlement date. In the end we did have to extend our closing date, but everything went as expected at closing and we were able to purchase the home.

My re-fi.. was started at the beginning of the "pandemic". But, the process should have been smoother and quicker, in my opinion. In New American's... favor: I paid no money "up front", and got a competitive interest rate.

We were assigned to Neil. We thought everything was good and that was the status we received. Things started to get difficult when the lender kept asking for the same documents to be sent multiple times. Then the lender contacted the sellers agent and changed the closing date without consulting us. It went from bad to worse. We requested someone else to work with and Kat was helpful and got the job done but when asked questions about lender credits just ignored the situation altogether.

Better communication is needed while loans are in underwriting. I went over 4 weeks without any communication from you. Calls a d emails to loan officer were not returned. Your team did very well in all interactions but the information blackout was unacceptable.
