Communication could have been better not sure to what level. There seemed to be a breakdown at the supervisor and underwriter positions. Rekhshan herself is very pleasant, professional and easy to work with.

Communication started off pretty great. Michael answered questions through txts and calls and would proactively stay in contact. As the time went on, that fell by the way side. Our closing took 3 months. I feel that the only reason it didn't take longer is because I had to continuously reach out and bird dog the process. It felt like our loan just got lost in the process and by reaching out they remembered. No reason for this to take 3 months. Started strong with a disappointing finish...

Let me start by saying I appreciate Sema Kaderi for her assistance. That said, it was such communication difficult at times. Furthermore, Ms. Kaderi's frustration was evident throughout the process. This meaningful process deserves patience and understanding with the customer. We had a lot of questions and it appeared to feel overwhelming to Sema. With that, we felt uncomfortable.

It could be my loan officer & processor had a lot of business. But prior experiences obtaining a loan or refi, my originator and processor were fast good with updates. This time, turnaround for a reply was reasonable, but not right on it. There was a hiccup with the notary, and I needed a reply asap. They had provided the escrow officers info so I called, then I notified my lending team that I didn't have to write a new check. Not terrible, nice, but not superb.

This process took approximately 5 months. My paperwork was lost and communication lacked especially with Bige. Mark did a good job trying to smooth things over but the process was not the best experience.

As first time buyers more info would have been helpful. Robert would reassure but without concrete steps. (We’ll get it done on time instead of we have to do x, t and z but we’re pretty sure we’ll get it done.)

Based off my experience, I think the level of communication could be greatly improved. Other lending companies I've worked with have videos or shoot emails/texts for financing updates that are really helpful. Answers questions before even having to ask them. My buyers felt a little left in the dark at the last minute with where their financing stood and loan approval. At the end of the day the loan was done so that's great but the communication could be improved upon.

Average transaction. Appraisal was completed several weeks prior to closing; there were additional conditions of appraisal that were never communicated until just a few days prior to closing. As the buyer's agent, no one ever mentioned the condition until the day before the scheduled closing. I really never knew the status of the loan until the very end. Great lenders keep their agents informed throughout the entire process.
