Everything was good till towards the end, had contacted both Chris and Monet about when Santander and Amerifirst would get their funds and never received an answer.

We had discussed with lender what we were willing to put down for a downpayment and how much we could go up to. After discussing it we found out the amount we had to put down was $1,000 over our Max. Also the monthly payments that we were told by our realtor was $200 less then what the lender said it was going to be when it was all said and done. Upon signing papers with Focus Title, the lady told us the lender was incorrect in both of those areas. She told us the monthly amount was going to be the original amount that we thought it would be ($200 less than what the lender said) and she cut us a $1,500 check saying that the downpayment number we were given by the lender was too much. It turned out in the end but we were given a lot of incorrect information on finances from the lender. I am not going to be that guy who bad mouths; however, I absolutely cannot give anything better than a middle line review.

less people that we had to work with. Seemed that every communication was from a new assistant who did not know what was already done. More thorough explanation of certain aspects/terms regarding mortgage requirements....for example, I did not know that when the lender was asking for my mortgage info (which was already submitted) that you were actually referring referring to the HELOC All people were polite though

I felt I had to reach out to get updates. I received miscommunications about the status of my loan, my appraisal was a disaster, my loan jumped in costs by over $1,000. I think overall I'm being generous saying anything positive. Heather Mathews was fantastic to work with, Dan - not so much.

I would have rated 5 stars on everything, but I attempted to contact Jessica multiple times after the loan closed and haven't received one bit of communication. She was great until the loan closed, then only crickets..
