COMMUNICATION!! It was near impossible to get a hold of the person working our loan. When we would contact our first person of contact there was always an excuse why he didn’t answer…sick, out of town…I don’t understand why they don’t have another person step in to help answer questions. I did my research and this company was the top of the list. Our refinance got complete but it was extremely difficult!

The same paper work was ask for several times, when it was time to close it was very stressful because both parties didn’t have paperwork that was sent several months back. Love my knew home but don’t want to experience this again.

Clear and concise information in a timely manner should be required. Documentation requests repetitive, some for items already received. Incomplete and different information from multiple people.

As first time homebuyers, the one thing we worried about is not knowing the steps of purchasing a home. We depended on our team of people (real estate agent, lender..etc.) to help us thru the process but we felt we did not get the experience we expected. The communication lack details and explanations of documents needed to make the transaction smooth. Paperworks were requested at time of closing date which was not acceptable due to being from out of town. I wish things were explained as to what was needed at the time of being approved which could have avoided the delay of our closing date. There was a lot of frustration for us, our real estate agent and seller. I felt there was lack of communications not just with us as the client but also within the the finance institute. Hopefully in the future, no one else has to experience the same frustration we did as FIRST time homebuyers.

It took over 2 months almost 3 to get this wrapped up. Communication where the loan stood could have been better. Due to this the loan cost more to close then the original closing disclosure agreed upon. However now that the loan is finally finished, I’m happy to have it done and behind me

early communication was great, but communications were very poor near closing. As an example, I got the final closing dollar amount 3 1/2 hrs before closing from Victor--thankfully I got it the day earlier from my realtor. The closing lawyer's perspective was that communications were poor and the requirements placed on them were things they've never seen before--ie. they were not happy with me or NAF. Ultimately it closed, we got it done and I got a very good rate. Stress was high at end.

Better communication to keep clients informed throughout the entire process.
