Unfortunately Mr Assi got sick during the loan and the other person handling it missed a question on rate/terms change when the appraisal came back much higher & LTV ratios dropped, so rate should've too.

Too many mistakes made during the loan process. Lack of cohesion between most of the agents I dealt with that were working from home in different parts of the country. If I have to remind them how to properly do their job then why am I am paying a fee for then to do it?

Very last minute requests for items that where not previously relayed as needed. She did however go out of her way to make sure the loan went through on the scheduled day with all the last minute changes.

Communication failed later in the process when the underwriter continued to request documents after were told all was complete. Made it difficult and frustrating especially since we were acting in good faith and away from our primary residence. We lost faith in the process .

Better communication would have been great. The closing process was extremely frustrating and stressful because we were told everything at the last minute. We almost didn’t close on the day we were given because paperwork was not submitted on time. Overall very unpleasant experience.

The cost to refinance was not the same on the finals papers as they were on the original quote and went up by 1000

A lot of important things were not directly discussed or communicated to us—ex. our house didn’t appraise originally and we were given a vague explanation of what was going on and then a couple days later we were told it appraised. Throughout the process, it felt like we were in the dark about what was happening. We also did not know how much we were expected to put as a down payment until a half hour before our appointment to close.
