I am an acquaintance of Tom, he got angry with me for trying to compare my loan with another lender. Tom didn't have any right to speak to me the way he did. Tom is who I had always referred people to but I won't be doing that anymore.

Nothing specific comes to mind. Funding companies just aren't one of my favorite entities. It's nothing personal.

My buyer's lender communicated sporadically and let the NAF Cash coordinator do most of the communication. Even though the transaction was new to me I expect lenders to communicate proactively as well as check in on the intricate terms of a NAF Cash program. I was not compensated for my work on the 2nd transaction and was told "well, you get paid on the first transaction". Next time I will have the lender and NAF Cash find another buyer's agent to work for free. My client's come first, and I would not have asked the buyer to pay me which he could not have as a VA loan. What was the main take-away and key learning from this transaction? I will discourage a NAF Cash program to any buyer if it comes up. Not to be arrogant, but I am a successful and trusted agent in my county. I pride myself on a high level of expertise through communication, education, and negotiation.

Communication was fine. Times where we would call, be told they would return our call, but to never receive a call back. Constantly had to provide the same documentation or documentation that wasn't available. This was communicated but seemed to fall on deaf ears. Overall, fine.

Ron seems very knowledgeable however, there were two occasions right at the time my clients were supposed to receive loan docs and get ready to close where the underwriter needed something at the last minute. Both items should have been noticed and requested long before. One being a termite report item ... when they had the report for awhile , the other being the way an addendum was written - again , they had it for awhile. A great processor would have taken care of these red flags.

Communication started out great then dropped off as we were approaching the finish line. No communication on CTC.

I am the real estate agent in the transaction. The transaction was delayed because of a title issue that locally we could have easily resolved, however was not communicated with us through the lender. We asked the lender multiple times if they had everything they need and were told we were good. Then at closing time, this was not the case. I feel that establishing a better relationship with this lender would be important in avoiding these types of situations in the future. As a highly experienced real estate agents, there are very few circumstances that I have not encountered and been able to work through. Finding out about them at the last minute is the rub. I am not sure that Jordan was the direct cause of this, more than likely just process or systems that failed, but it did cause a lot of stress on the buyer who was desperately trying to get out of a hotel and into her house. Collectively, we can do better as the team the buyer deserves to have a pleasant experience. The communication goes both ways and I am not to say that we have no fault at my brokerage. We need more than one transaction to establish this relationship.
