There were a couple times when it was difficult to contact Clayton, but when I did talk to him, he was very courteous and provided answers to my questions. Because the process took much longer than expected and there was communication with so many other representatives from NAF, it would have been a better experience if Clayton was the primary contact for the whole process and/or he sent regular communications on the status of the loan instead of me asking.

Jason was quite good to deal with. He has great communication skills and was very responsive. The refinancing process is not pleasant. I am a retired CPA and have been through it many times. Nothing about it is "memorable". NewAmerican was about "on par" with others I have dealt with-it took 4-5 months to complete. The completion of loan processing and the closing were "painful". The person I dealt with (not Jason) did a mediocre job. Out of space to comment further!

Took a little longer to close but allen kept me updated and was overall great to work with. He didn't realize he couldn't transfer my FHA escrow to a Conventional loan. So at closing we signed for X amount on a cash out refi and Received $2000.00 less because he put it toward our new escrow. But he is getting it fixed thats why a 4 out of 5 stars.

Steve was approachable friendly and worked to solve problems. He came across as trustworthy as well. I will say my interactions with Steve was quite limited during this process so a detailed meaningful review is a bit difficult.
