I would say overall service was good. There were just sometimes where he was unable to be reached for extended periods of time. This led everyone to believe that things may not have been worked on as quickly as we liked or that there were holdups that weren't being communicated. When he was in contact, he was very pleasant and informative.

I would of like to have more communication and information about my loan since this was my first time ever buying a house. I wasnt really familiar with how this all works so I felt a bit lost not knowing what was going on and the changes being made.

Giomara was great. She is responsive and is available at all times. The only reason I couldn't give her the Excellent score was because at the beginning I was informed I would qualify for PR assistance/grant due to hurricane Maria and would pay @ 1% closing costs. The original home cost was $135k and I wound up payiing $10k. She was extremely nice and helpful otherwise.

-Funding company changed abruptly during the underwriting process. -Previously submitted paperwork was lost and not recoverable, had to resubmit -Document requests and signature forms trickled in over days and weeks rather than being sent in a bundle all at once. -Very short notice was given for the execution of our wire transfer with no clear time frame stipulated for when it needed to be complete. Our follow up for clarification prevented a potential delay in the getting the funds sent.

Communication was needed at the end of the process as we were expecting to close on a Monday and found out later in the day from the Escrow officer we hadn’t received funding. This is something I felt should have been immediately revealed to us by NAF when they knew it wasn’t going to be cleared. I know the cause of this was due to the appraiser not fulfilling her duties but it still caused us a ton of stress as we were supposed to move out the weekend prior from our apartment.

Amber is a good loan officer and she genuinely cares about her clients. She always responded to my commutation and questions. Sometimes it would be the next day which is my only complaint but the questions were not that pressing in hindsight.
