There were significant gaps in communication. I didn't hear from anyone about my loan for about 4 - 5 weeks. And even then, I didn't see any movement on my loan until I was the one to contact the company. I know that the pandemic interrupted some work (I'm working remotely too) but I didn't hear from the company before the pandemic and after many folks went remote, I still had to be the one to ask "what's happening" before I heard anything.

We were supposed to get a post close credit back for the appraisal fee which were told would be waived as it was new construction and we were current mortgage holders. An appraisal was done unknown to us, and we were charged for it at closing. Kat said she was working on a post close credit and we were fine with that. I’ve reached out via email and left a phone message, three times since we closed in December and have never heard back with any response of any kind.

Shane communicated and always responded. It was the processor that had either misplaced stuff for our file, asked for the same information more than once, and wasn't timely on responding. As a matter of fact my husband and I both left her phone messages and she never returned either of our messages. If the processor was as thorough as Shane it would have went a whole lot smoother.

Better communication. It was great at the beginning and once turned over to the loan officer it went downhill quickly.
