When I first made contact I had a lot of communication but had to work for it after the loan application started. Loan got done fairly efficiently but communication should have been more consistent and proactive throughout the process. Competency turned out to be pretty good but especially in a virtual environment the customer needs to hear from the agent.

There was miscommunication as to locking in the rate and I lost a 2.875% an had to settle for a 3.235% with points. It was very disappointing as I have done business with New American Funding for many years.

Everything just took way way longer then I was told. Made things complicated on our end and with where I live getting an appraisal was a long ways out. Probably not Wes fault or new American. Just complications throughout the whole process. Sometimes life does that.

Better trained, more experienced, quicker loan processing team. Taylor was fantastic, but the loan processing team was the opposite.

I didn’t say it wasn’t memorable. There was just some confusion with what we could and couldn’t spend. When we asked if we could pay our debts off we were told not to then right before closing we where told we couldn’t close unless we paid off all debts in full (contradiction) and got statements showing they where paid. So we spent hours on hold with various companies trying to obtain the information that would have been readily available had we paid the debts sooner. Sara was very professional and always took our calls when she was available to do so.
