I am very thankful they worked with me through this very long refinance process. Sometimes communication wasn't as good as it could have been and I think a few face to face meetings would have helped ease some worries a little better. All in all I am happy to have gotten the refinance taken care of and am happy to have gone through someone I know.

Alvin did good job. Disappointed in NAF though, issues were: 1) the original sales rep Mark Burns estimated that we would get a 4.75% int rate (no fee) or 4.5 int rate ($1629 fee). He estimated that back in April as we were starting the loan process. Later, when Alvin took over he informed us that Mark "mislead us" and the rates were actually higher 5.875% (including $1629 fee); 2) slow underwriting caused a 2 day delay in our closing...not good when you had 6 months from start to close.
