better communication overall

I repeatedly asked for documents to back up verbal claims made by the agent . I never received the documents prior to closing, but I was able to find them on my own on the New American Funding website , which is the only reason I did not cancel my refinance .

Donovan is a very nice person. I picture him with a headset on and walking around reassuring and wanting to move on. I was a realtor for nearly 40 years. You have become attached to youtr emails, docusign etc. I fortunately understand the process and my options. The person that doesn't, Donovan is to fast and doesn't take the time to make sure everything is clear and I am sure he checked out all of my options. I have been through this process with you before. Kris (I think was his name)I understand he no longer works for you. He was great He took the time to see me and my needs. He called me every 4 or 5 months after the close of escrowbecause I said I wanted to refi when the rates lowered. He saw the customer and potential business. You can thank him. I am less enthused this time. You guys are on to the next. I asked Doinovan for a complete set of docs including closing statement, loan docs, etc. Not sure your processes and required form of delivery. I have received noting. The received an email saying FUNDED for questions it gave the phone number for customer service. I called him and got voice mail. He returned my call but I said I looked up the phone number for the title company and got my questions answered. Donovan called back and I told him I got my questions by calling the title company. Not something I should have had to do. Donovan is suppose to be point man. He moves too fast. He on to the next thing before he finishes the current task Please I would still like to have a full set of docs please. Quick question. Did New American Funding wave any part of the origination fee Kris said they would on a refi. I asked Donovan don't remember a clear answerl Sorry I'm not usually a pickie person. I do understand how hard you jobs can be. The customer should not have to know that if your want repeat business. Let the customer they matter, not just one of many. Your business can eat you alive. When items were expected from us we had to deliver quickly many times with little notice. When we needed updates we often had to ask for them. The appraisal process was a nightmare with rediculous and unrealistic expecations. The appraiser had to come three times to inspect for lead based paint when we informed him that our house had been completely stripped and painted multiple times since the discontinuation of lead based paint. Also, the inspector added items on the second visit that were not included in the to-do list from the first visit. The list of money distribution to creditors indicated that the amounts would not be changed. This caused some of the accounts to be overpaid while others were underpaid leaving us to sort things out and ask for refunds to balance things out. We had to provide valid payment slips for each of the creditors we listed, but the checks were then sent to us to distribute. The appraisal expectations should have been communicated more clearly and the funds distribution should have been more carefully done with correct amounts for all who were to receive payment.

I probably just don't know much about the process but there were various of kinks along the route to closing, some variables I think could have been avoided or at least approached differentl.

Refinancing is it a well-established procedure these days, it really can't be bad and it really can't be "great".
