There were basic errors in our file that slowed down our closing but that wasn't a major issue. The email and text communication was good but we would have appreciated something face to face.

Tony was very good. But, I will never again use Ruoff. Their underwriting was ridiculous . They immediately sold my loan to a company that apparently has no humans working; only impossible phone trees that DO NOT allow me to speak to anyone. I have no payment coupons and do not know when my next payment is due. Not one phone number provided gets me to a place where I can resolve an issue. I will be very busy or out of the country over the next 6 weeks and will likely end up with a late fee despite extensive efforts to make a timely payment. And Ruoff has ‘washed their hands of me’ doing nothing more than telling me to call the dead end phone tree numbers. Very frustrating!!!

This is not Nick's fault, but if there is a central place where we load our supporting documents, why do we have to repeatedly email the same documents as well? It was as if the person who had to check our documents (Heather) did not have access to the central document portal. How could this be? Emailing is not even a secure way to send this information...why were we asked to use an unsecure method? Movement Mortgage seems to delegate so many tasks out to a team that as a customer you are always talking to a different person, and sending the same information to multiple places. There isn't one person who handles the case and understands the issues. Super frustrating. Again, this is a structural issue with the way the company is set up and does not reflect upon Nick, who was really good.
