I prefer complete Online service. The service was mainly text and emails. I don't like to be on the phone and answer questions via phone- very old-fashion way to do business. I had a huge amount of papers to sign at the end - ridiculous. Papers I had already signed Online. The website was not fully utilized. I had to redo the work. I am definitely going back to Rocket Mortgage next time -completely Online-beginning to end. Adios.

Trying to get a hold of the load officers was a pain. And the constant need for extra paperwork and information, I feel, drug the process out a lot longer than it should have been. I understand the info was needed but I feel like most of the info requested should have been requested at the beginning of the process. Other than that, the loan process was fine. It just took longer than I thought it would.

Seemed like everyone was on a different page with sending documents. Kept having to send them multiple times. Let them know that’s all we would have/ got from the bank and Schwab. Didn’t always keep in touch with my realtor when asked for documents. Felt like we were told to send/ get documents at the last minute. When we called one night for a question was rude on the phone. My fiance and coworker heard. Would of been nice to have a check off list for everything that he needed from us

Lack of internal communication between all Envoy employees we worked with was very irritating. We were passed around to 3 different people. After a week of communication, the second person we worked with stopped responding to texts and emails. All 3 requested documentation that had previously had been sent to them. Overall, these 3 lacked internal communication or a motivation to look for what they were seeki. Only positive was that the loan process wasn't negatively impacted and we got our home

I believe that John Hill & Jourdan probably did the best they could under the burden of being at the mercy of the underwriters requests. However, these requests felt more like demands and quite frankly, put us on the defensive. As we had reminded John Hill, we were shocked that we we, as a customer with a solid existing mortgage loan history, would be treated so coldly. We’ve been reminded that government regulations must be followed through the underwriting process… However, the process of forwarding repetitive documentation became tedious. I understand business is business, but truly, I felt as though our integrity was being questioned.
