I had an overall pleasant experience working with Tish Scott. Between the choices of "just OK" and "great" I picked "great" because she means well and has your best interests in mind. However the "hurry up and wait" part of this process seemed worse than I'd remembered in the past, and I had to submit excessive documentation, some of which didn't end up being necessary. Then, I had to shoulder the cost of extending the rate lock another 10 days when NAF failed to get VA approval.

There were several issues with associates and a lack of communication. I was repeatedly ask for information that already provided or was not relevant to our loan. Also paperwork that was sent for review with incorrect information. The amount due at closing was complete wrong. Chris assured me that it would be correct but you are sending it " for review" I feel it should be correct. Everyone was polite and nice.

It was memorable, I just wouldn't describe it as pleasurable. Scott is very responsive and makes himself available. I believe he tries to answer all questions and did everything he could to meet my needs. What is unpleasant is the rush to close and the personal references to how I am acting and feeling. This is an extremely stressful process, dealing with extraordinary amounts of my money. Any feelings I am having during this process are my own and are not up for analysis by my loan officer.

The refi has been in process almost 4 months, and is still not done. Lots of communication up front, then things got really quiet. Several documents had to be submitted multiple times, and I actually ended up having to call the title company myself at the end to track down payments. Still waiting for the consolidation payoff.

Lots of problems to close and at closing This was supposed to be a 20 year loan and closing papers are for 30. Will pay off early anyway but I believe interest was not correct because of this. Gloria was super helpful to me on computer assistance and so very kind to me. So all can be find in long run but for some would not have been. My plan to pay early helps my finances. Although still can’t beat the low rates , right!!!!
