There were some major hiccups toward the end of our loan closing process on New American Funding’s behalf that delayed our closing date and caused a lot of stress. It ultimately was resolved after a LOT of going back and forth.

If items needed could be requested at once and not so much back and forth with things needed. It takes too long for the final approval process which I know a lot lies with underwriting and the requests.

Just follow up and respond to email about questions, still haven’t heard about current taxes about lowering payment down. Tina Do did communicate a little better.

Admittedly, the entire refinance process with New American Funding was the worst I have ever experienced. That being said, the problems and frustrations I experienced were not with Anthony Di Pasqua (he was always pleasant and professional), but rather with the underwriting dept of the company. I understand delays caused by the Covid pandemic, however, repeatedly requesting the same information, up to 3 times, and then not providing any sort of update is not Covid related; it's unprofessional
