The lack of communication is what I didn't like. three weeks to a month would go bye without an update. I would have to be the one to contact and see if everything was okay. Took much longer than originally discussed which surprised me due already having my home loan with New American.

The loan company kept increasing the amount of money I needed to have to close and waited till the last week to hit me up for about another $3000 for closing. Then after two days of figuring out how I was going to come up with the money they found out I owned a business with plenty of money available and said that would be fine. They should have taken that into consideration a lot sooner since they knew I owned a business. Erich was fine but the main office kept changing things.

This is my second time using New American Funding. The process is very easy and Chris provides great service. Not attributable to Chris, but the one item that could use improvement, is the additional document request(s) from the Underwriters. Because of the peppered requests causing multiple emails, response documents were missed due to the back and forth. It would have been easier to do a comprehensive request instead of the onesie-twosie approach. Otherwise... still a great company.
