Good start to the process. Lost emails within secure email system that contained highly sensitive information. Underwhelmed by assistant who overlooked documents that were already sent. Acceptable closing time.

The process took much longer than expected....much longer than with my previous lender. Mr. Haddad was very good and responsive to my questions and concerns. I believe the delay was due to the underwriting process.

The overall time it took for the loan to process was almost 2 months. I felt this was entirely too long considering this was a simple refi of our current loan with New American. A big mistake was discovered on our first attempt to sign paperwork. An impound account was not set up, and this was never communicated with us. Our previous loan did have an impound account. Anyway, this mistake delayed the process even longer. Overall, the processors were pleasant to work with.

The web portal to s a convenient way to upload documents, but does nothing to let you check on the status or get clarification on any outstanding request. A dedicated app is needed. It was also difficult to get a clear timeline after the loan was approved.
