cool to refinance at a better rate. I wish we'd had more ongoing contact as the Fed Funds Rate continued to drop - I feel like we should have/could have been offered a better deal I was thrown by how often other representatives reached me using Chris's email address. Once we'd agreed to refi with New American, Chris was actually pretty hands off, which I guess is just how it goes, but it felt a little like being in the pipeline. Not warm and fuzzy, if that's what you were going for.

As being first time home buyers a little more communication would have gone a long way. Sometimes I felt like we were searching for an answer or clarification in not knowing the process fully.

I had worked with Stephanie in the past and I really appreciated the way she was able to help me. But due to circumstances beyond her control, I was not able to receive the same level of service. In addition some of the promises we had discussed had not come to fruition and when I needed her, she was unable to respond to my emails texts and phone messages. This was a disappointment.

Shawn is fine, but his tools/team are bad. I was requested to sign a document that was a clear contradiction of what was said on recorded line. After asking for an explanation, I was told that document is incorrect, but I should sign it anyway. After refusing to do so, processor claimed that they will fix it at some point later and find a different reason for fee increase. Processor did not want to contact her supervisor to fix her mistake, and was unable to properly explain available options.
