OI have bought and sold over 25 properties in the last 30 years. This was the most difficult and frustrating experience of all of them. Circumstances contributed to most of it. The amount of documentation and paperwork was by far the most I have ever experienced. We were away from home during the whole process so our files and needed documentation weren't easily accsessible. This wasn't North Americans fault. But, I didn't understand why some (a lot) of what was being asked for was necessary.

Matt seemed knowledgeable and professional. The whole process was chaotic, with being sent last minute forms and several forms being resent with corrections.

Cheryl was great throughout the whole process! She helped us understand our lending options. Best of all, she found lending options no other lender we talked to could. The big downside was after the process was over, New American Funding was very pushy about filling out this survey. They didn't even seem to consider the fact that we were moving(!!!) and had enough stress going on. The pushy impatience was a huge turnoff. Any recommedations will come with a clear warning about this.

There are some miscommunication between escrow and Sun Street, the solar provider which delay the closing to the end of August. I am OK with everything else.
