It just took twice as long as I was told it would take. I wouldn’t have been upset if I was told that it would take two months instead of one. But all in all, it was good. Everything finally got figured out and we are currently waiting for funds to be disbursed.

Both Joe and Rahim were great to work with. I would refer anyone to them. The process was NOT great. Having to pay for an appraisal and not choose the appraiser was something I didn't like. Usually appraisals are written into the loan. I checked the box to receive a paper copy of my appraisal and have not received it. I am NOT happy about that. Also the length of the process was ridiculous!! I know we went through several changes but that wasn't my fault. I did everything I was asked to do and usually completed it within a day at the most. I am not happy with New American but thought Joe and Rahim were great.

I felt I was constantly being bombarded with requests for more and more documentation, occasionally it was stuff I had already sent. Overall very positive interactions with Doug over the phone though. Would have preferred more of those than the many many emails from 3 people.
