Alyssa was amazing. Jose, the loan processor, was absolutely not. I found communications to be lacking and at times unprofessional. It's best to confirm receipt of documents and an email, especially when things are important and time-sensitive. Also, it was clear that some of my emails were either not read or ignored since I was never given an answer to some questions. I also didn't get any communication from anyone the last couple days of the process, which was kind of a bummer and caused me some worry as I needed finalized information to wire the funds so we could close next day. I also was expecting a "Congrats on finishing this process" at the very least. In essence, I found the beginning to be very personal and amazing and the end to be lackluster and anticlimactic. So overall, the experience was fine.

Closing date was pushed back numerous times without much explanation. Got to be very frustrating especially since we were on a time limit do to our jobs

I felt like I had to do a lot of the legwork and communicating with my loan. On several occasions I had to submit different types of paperwork which is okay but I wasn't sure why I wasn't given all the information up front to begin with. Hunter did an exceptional job on the front end and the back end it was just the middle pieces that don't necessarily concern hunter that I wasn't extremely satisfied with.

Overall the process was much better this time. Communication should be better. There should never be an unanswered email or unreturned call. Also, I never received a heads up that I was clear to close which created a nightmare for last minute scheduling and deliveries. I will say that buying down points was a waste of money in my case. We did close as scheduled and I hope others have this same experience
