For the most part the process was really good. Jeff was very communicative. Toward the very end, particularly when we got to the appraisal, was where everything went left. Had I not been so close to the end of the buying process I would have walked away from NAF.

Our experience was fine. At the end of the day, we were satisfied with the service. It is clear that Jeanette is very knowledgeable and dedicated. Unfortunately, getting to the final loan terms was not an easy process. It took a long time to even get an initial estimate so we felt a bit strung along. Then, we were told our estimate over the phone over a weekend so we only had a short time to lock it in before the rates would change again on Monday. When we finally did get our written estimate, we learned that there was an additional cost for our rate that we was not disclosed previously. We had asked on multiple occasions for written documentation of the cost breakdown, but did not get a clear explanation until a week before closing when it was too late to change anything. Since we're first time homebuyers, it would have been nice to have more written communication rather than phone calls so we could thoroughly review everything before signing.

The initial experience was excellent. We picked Bryan because of his consistent communication and advice. After we sent all require documentation and signed initial documents communication lacked. We assumed all was well with documents until my wife reached out a week before closing to confirm everything was still on track. Did received an email from Bryan’s assistant requesting memorandums for statement of service 2 days prior to scheduled closing. No big deal, we can make this happen but the assistant put a sense of urgency on the task without realizing that I am 3 hours ahead of their time and it was already 9:00 p.m my time. Ultimately had to move the closing date, created unnecessary stress.
