I believe the experience could have been much better with more attention to detail, clearer communication, and follow-through from the loan officer assigned to our file. What would have made this experience better is: A loan officer carefully reviewing the documentation we provided A consistent and accurate understanding of our financial goals and property status Proactive communication and accountability when changes or issues arose.

I find it appalling that New American Funding placed a document authorizing partner companies be able to contact me after closing. New American Funding made this a required document in order to close. They did put some statement on how to opt out. I NEVER wanted to opt in. I will never recommend New American Funding to anyone for that reason alone. The fact that I had to sign that form to close this loan seems like it should be illegal and I will seek counsel to help determine that if I receive one spam call or email from anyone associated with New American Funding.

Its not about more communication ita about getting the correct communication out earlier. I asked about five different people what we would need for closing and how my sister would transfer the gift but because we didn't get that and a few other peices of information until the night before the closing. It almost didn't happen. Otherwise The team did thier jobs well without the support and guidance provided my anxiety would have been much worse.
