Better communication. We had the same issue when we first purchased our home. I had to reach out to them to get updates. No one information us of when our closing was. We received a phone call from the person that was completing the closing 5 minutes before they arrived.

Chris did his best to keep us in the loop but the process was very long related to various barriers and hoops we had to jump through. The loan processor did not communicate well or timely. We often had long periods of no contact or updates as far as next steps. Then a random email would come in with no notice and want quick responses.

If the lender would have been on time with everything. They had roughly 45 days to get their stuff together and at the very last minute dropped the ball and caused the buyer to have to back up the closing date since the lender was not ready.
