The level of communication and dates of what is going to happen, etc needs to improve. In my experience because of the rate of the mortgage I was patient. Otherwise I would have not gone ahead. The day before the closing date I get the CD at around 10:30PM. On a normal work week this would have been crazy.

They offered best rates available at the time. No other lender could match their rates let alone beat. They got a great tool to keep you posted on the loan progress. They could use some help in the communication department but I get they were extremely busy with loan applications given the historic low rates.

Indy was great, he went above and beyond in (re)locking my rates. It took 5 months to close my refinance mortgage. I understand that the COVID pandemic delayed the closing, and they had other loan applications. However, I would have been greatly satisfied if there was a better communication during the process. I had to email/call DK Mortgage every week to push and get an update. I might do business with DK Mortgage again but might be skeptical on referring anyone to DK Mortgage in future!
